Cathy loves learning new media to uniquely represent her creativity. Gathering inspiration from her family's inventive and ever changing ways of living, she worked with charcoal, oils, ceramic, clay and now textile particularly with Punch Needle.

“Punch needle is my way of painting with yarn’’- this form of embroidery is about the needle pushing thread or yarn into the fabric, while keeping the needle on the surface, creating a rug-like texture.“Personally I love putting together yarns with a variety of thickness in one piece, this gives the final result a 3D form that stands out from other embroidery works.’’

In her creative work you’ll typically find bold colours, clean lines and her love for decorative art and it’s current trends. Cathy uses environment friendly tools such as organic cotton and linen yarn so any jacket you get with her work, it’s rebellious.
