Mery Angelo David is a self-taught artisan and the creative director of Mery Angelo-Atelier.

As a young woman she was fascinated by fashion design, it was back in the 90s when the Haute Couture was going through an extravagant and inspiring transformation. Upon her arrival to Germany she graduated as a *pattern maker* at the Gabriel Fashion Institute in Frankfurt where she learned how to develop a fashion collection from the design to the confection.

Her love for art took her to pursue a BA in Italian art history, which helped her build a deeper connection with it, and it increased her interest in experimenting with different mediums and techniques, discovering mixed media to be her favourite canvas to express her colourful vision of the world, building up layers of texture, colour and prints.

She became aware of the thoughtless consumption of clothing in today's society through her experience as a visual merchandiser for a high-street fashion retailer, this prompted her to redirect her creative work towards a more environmentally friendly path.

In 2015, following her two passions, she began to embellish jackets and accessories with collage pieces under the name “CorazonconPatas”, for family and friends. Having had a great resonance, she decided to open her own brand.
